Our Prices
Our prices reflect our values. Our bags are ethically made by women in Afghanistan who are paid above minimum wage as we carefully select women who have no other source of income for their family.
We use 100% cotton. Polyester or blends would be cheaper but we want our bags to decompose at their end of life.
We use recycled satin ribbon that used to be water bottles. Recycled ribbon is almost twice the price of virgin satin. The ribbon can be pulled out at the bag's end of life to allow the cotton to be recycled or composted.
As shipping from Afghanistan is so complicated, we have included most of the shipping cost in the unit price.
Production
We carry a small amount of most items in our warehouse in Auckland however all bulk orders are made to order. We print your fabric to order to avoid to avoid the environmental burden of deadstock fabric which plagues the textile industry. Please allow for 50 days production time in your schedules.
Shipping
For NZ, everything will be dispatched from our warehouse in Auckland. You will be charged local freight only.
For all other countries, bulk orders will be dispatched directly from Pakistan. We use Incoterms: CPT (Carriage Paid To). This means we pay for the shipping and insurance to the closest port to you but you assume local delivery charges and import duties and taxes. Please use the Request a Quote at checkout so we can calculate the correct shipping rates for you.
Small orders (less than a pallet) will be calculated case by case depending on weight. Please use the Request a Quote at checkout so we can calculate the correct shipping rates for you.
Payment
We require 30% deposit on bulk orders. Please click "Request a Quote" at checkout so we can calculate your shipping (if any) and send separate invoices for payment. The deposit must be received before production starts. You will receive an invoice for the balance when the shipment leaves Pakistan. Papers required for import will be released after final payment is received.

*As doing business in Afghanistan is so risky, approximately 30% of our stock will be manufactured in Pakistan as a risk-mitigation strategy.
